B.A, B.Ed, M.Ed
Alisha Price worked at PMSS as an English and Career Education teacher for 5 years before moving into the School Counselling position, She has a passion for building school community and is involved with coaching, the Tile Painting Project, and Dungeons & Dragons Club.
Through her involvement with the school community, Alisha uses a Social-Emotional approach in connecting with students outside of the counselling office. She uses a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and client-centered Solution-Focus therapy in supporting students through their struggles. She emphasizes the connection between mind and body and promotes mindfulness through exercise, meditation, and being in nature.

Alisha loves nature- from her counselling office that looks like a greenhouse, to the local walks and hikes by the mountains in our community. She grew up at Pitt Lake and prefers to be near lakes, trees, and oceans in her spare time. She has traveled to 26 countries (and counting!) and will continue to explore the globe travelling out of a backpack. Alisha and her husband own a rescue dog named Obi who loves is arguably too spoiled. Alisha loves Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, and Dungeons & Dragons.
